This Privacy Policy applies to StarSeed Soul (starseedsoultype.github.io/starseed) and Twin Frequency (twinfrequency.io), both operated by StarSeed Soul. By using our websites or app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Quiz Results: When you complete a Soul Origin Scan or Soul Connection quiz, we record your quiz type and result (e.g., soul origin type) in our database for analytics purposes. No personally identifiable information is stored at this stage.
Email Address: If you voluntarily enter your email address in a quiz form to receive your reading, we collect and store that email. By submitting your email, you consent to receive your Soul reading and occasional updates from StarSeed Soul. You may unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email or contacting us directly.
Account Data (Twin Frequency app): Email address, phone number, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
Profile Data (Twin Frequency app): Name, age, gender, location, photos, and your selected soul origin.
Usage Data: Your swipes, matches, messages, and interaction with the library within the Twin Frequency app.
Device & Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, and browser type, collected automatically via analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Deliver your Soul reading or Soul Connection reading to your email address.
Send occasional updates about new features, workshops, or offers from StarSeed Soul. You can opt out at any time.
Calculate soul frequency compatibility and generate matches within the Twin Frequency app.
Facilitate communication between users within the app.
Improve our products through anonymised usage analytics.
Ensure safety and security by monitoring for abusive behaviour.
Comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

With Other Users (Twin Frequency app): Your profile information (name, photo, origin, age, location) is visible to other users in the app.
Supabase: We use Supabase (supabase.com) for database hosting and user authentication. Your account data, profile data, quiz analytics, and messages are stored on Supabase servers. See their privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
Web3Forms: When you submit your email via a quiz form, the data is transmitted through Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a form submission service, in order to deliver it to us. See their privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.
Meta (Facebook): We use Meta Pixel on our websites to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to build audiences for ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta Pixel may collect your IP address, browser information, and pages visited. This data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. You can opt out via facebook.com/ads/preferences.
Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes.

4. Email Communications & Unsubscribe

If you provided your email address through one of our quizzes, you may receive:

Your Soul reading or Soul Connection reading (transactional — always sent once).
Occasional updates about new features, workshops, or offers from StarSeed Soul (marketing — you can opt out at any time).

To unsubscribe from marketing emails, reply "unsubscribe" to any email you receive from us, or contact us at the address below. We will remove you from our list within 5 business days.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Our websites use cookies and similar tracking technologies, including:

Meta Pixel: Tracks page views and quiz completions to measure ad performance and build advertising audiences on Facebook and Instagram.
Session storage: Used locally in your browser to maintain quiz state. No data is sent to external servers.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our websites.

6. Data Retention

We retain your email address and associated quiz results for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or until you request deletion. Quiz analytics data (anonymised) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement. Account data in the Twin Frequency app is retained until you delete your account.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data. Twin Frequency app users can do this from the Profile Settings page. For quiz email data, contact us at the address below.
Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our database. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Twin Frequency, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Twin Frequency. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. User Conduct and Content

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and the content you post. You agree NOT to:

Post any content that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or racially, sexually, or otherwise objectionable.
Harass, stalk, or intimidate other users.
Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including fraud or soliciting money.
Impersonate any person or entity.
Upload viruses or malicious code.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these rules.

4. Safety and Interactions

Twin Frequency does not conduct criminal background checks on its users. You are solely responsible for your safety when interacting with others, both online and offline. Always exercise caution and use the in-app reporting tools if you encounter suspicious behavior.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Twin Frequency, including text, graphics, logos, and algorithms, is the property of Twin Frequency and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twin Frequency shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, or any conduct or content of any third party on the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms in the app. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
